Mr. Ernest Madara Kayeyia is a Lecturer in the faculty of computing and Information management (FOCIM) at KCA University. He has over 25 years’ experience having worked 9 years in Publishing, Hospitality, non governmental organization and Manufacturing industry, and 19 years of teaching and software project implementation experience. Mr E. M. Kayeyia holds a Msc in Data communications from KCA University, B.Sc (Maths and Computer science) from Egerton University.
programme (MDP) trainings from 2003. He has contributed to KASNEB newsline magazine on Information technology topics for over 10 years.
Mr. Madara started his career in 1991-93 as a systems analyst/Programmer at Stellagraphics Ltd, then 1994-95 joined Alliance Group of Hotels as Asst Computer Manager, 1995 to 97 joined Association for the Physically disabled of Kenya (APDK) coast branch as a Management Information Systems Manager,1998-99 joined Farmchem Ltd as a project lead/coordinator in implementing Scala ERP, 1999-2000 as an IT consultant with Sunlodges Ltd in spearheading the Y2000 readiness. At KCA university where he has been for 19years has served in the following
positions system administrator, deputy HOD center for IT, Deputy IT Manager, Co-ordinator
IMIS/DCE/CISCO, Deputy Dean of Students and currently as a Lecturer.
